AUBURN – A 9-year-old girl was slightly injured Saturday when she hit a stopped car while riding her bike.

Police said Dakota Greene was riding her bike on Chestnut Street late Saturday afternoon when she struck a car that had stopped at a stop sign. She was transferred to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with minor injuries.

The hospital said she was treated and released.
