LEWISTON – Douglas E. Bragdon, 62, of 90 Pleasant St., Auburn, died Friday, April 15, at Central Maine Medical Center with his family by his side.

He was born in New Gloucester, on Aug. 30, 1942, the son of Edwin and Goldie (Libby) Bragdon. He was educated in New Gloucester schools.

He worked for 30 years at Pioneer Plastics. He enjoyed camping, especially with his family at Old Orchard Beach, he also loved to go to the races with his co-workers. He enjoyed getting together with family and friends, and he was pleasant and fun to be with.

He is survived by his wife, the former Yvonne Roberts; his sons, Brian Roberts and Eric Roberts; daughters, Jennifer Bragdon, Debbie Bragdon, Laurie Bragdon and Denise Bragdon; his grandchildren, Zachary, Kaylee, Brandon and Matthew; and brothers, Arthur and his wife, Kim, and Jim and his wife, Rena.

He was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Harold and Edwin Jr.; and sister, Beverly.
