LEWISTON – Frank R. Marena Jr., 47, died Sunday, April 17, at Montello Manor in Lewiston, after a long illness, with his loving family by his side.

He was born Sept. 30, 1957, in Rumford, the son of Frank R. Sr., and June M. (Burgess) Marena. On March 2, 1996, he married Kathy J. (Meserve) Marena in New Gloucester at the New Gloucester Bible Church.

He worked for many years at American Stablis in Auburn and as parts manager at Rowe Ford in Auburn. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time with his children.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy, of Poland; children, Michael Farr of Monmouth, Sasha Marena of Auburn, Cody Meserve of Poland and Siarra Marena of Poland; mother, June Daigle Weeks and her husband, Clayton, of Mexico; sisters, Sue McPhee of Dixfield and Joanne Parent of Dixfield; brother, Andy Daigle of Rumford; mother-in-law, Lori Meserve of Lewiston; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father; grandparents; father-in-law, James Meserve; and stepfather, James Daigle Sr.
