FARMINGTON – Yolanda R. Henry, 82, a lifelong resident of Livermore Falls, died early Sunday morning, April 17, at the Sandy River Center for Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Farmington.
She was born April 12, 1923, in Livermore Falls, a daughter of Ernest and Emma (D’Orazio) Mollicone. She received her education at St. Rose Grammar School and graduated from Livermore Falls High School.
On July 26, 1947, she married Oswald “Ozzie” Henry at St. Rose of Lima Church, Jay. In addition to being a devoted homemaker for many years, she was employed as an assistant foreman at Livermore Shoe Co.
She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Jay and was a member of the Daughters Of Isabella. She was also a member of the Frank L. Mitchell VFW Auxiliary and was a former member of the Livermore Falls/Jay Senior Citizens. She and her husband enjoyed many day trips together with their friends in the senior citizens organization.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ozzie, of Livermore Falls; their daughter, Tanya Nadeau and her husband, Gerard Nadeau, of Jay; a brother, Herbert “Herbie” Mollicone and his wife, Florence, of St. Cloud, Fla.; two sisters, Josephine “Jo” Stradley of Woodbridge, Conn., and Sylvia Mollicone of Livermore Falls; and two grandsons, Tarek Nadeau and Tarad Nadeau.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Maria and Anita.
