WILTON – The Wilton CareerCenter will host a spring job fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, for anyone looking for employment, considering a career change, or wanting to know about the current and future job market. The event is free and open to the public.
Since April has been designated by Gov. John Baldacci as Hire A Veteran month in Maine, local veterans’ representative, Barry Roberts, will provide information about veterans’ benefits and re-employment services offered by the career center.
Participating in the job fair will be businesses from the area who will discuss their companies and employment opportunities. A partial list of employers who will attend includes Care and Comfort, Community Concepts, Employment Times, Livebridge, MBNA, AFLAC, Formed Fiber Technologies, Staff Management, LEAP, Franklin Memorial Hospital, State of Maine, Star Security, Mt. Valley Properties and SAD 9. There are spaces available for more businesses.
