MONMOUTH – Doug and Nancy Ludewig of Monmouth are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Ludewig, to Michael Murphy, son of John and Virginia Murphy of Richmond.
Miss Ludewig, of Monmouth, is a 1998 graduate of Monmouth Academy and a 2003 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington, where she received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is employed at the Henry L. Cottrell School in Monmouth.
Mr. Murphy, of Richmond, is a 1991 graduate of Cheverus High School and a 1995 graduate of St. Anselm College in Manchester, N.H., where he received a degree in natural science.
He is the owner of Murphy’s Stoneworks in Richmond.
An Aug. 20 wedding is planned at the Maple Hill Farm Bed and Breakfast in Hallowell.
