LITCHFIELD – The wedding of Heather MacKenzie and Jesse Casavant was held at 4 p.m. on Sept. 11 at the Litchfield Community Church. Pastor Aaron Strout officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Casavant is the daughter of William and Lisa MacKenzie of Lewiston. Mr. Casavant is the son of Robert and Heidi Casavant of Lewiston.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a halter style gown with chapel train and carried a bouquet of brightly colored Gerber daisies accented with fresh eucalyptus.

A sister of the bride, Sarah MacKenzie, was honor attendant and bridesmaid was Amanda Galipeau, friend. Christin Casavant, cousin of the bridegroom, was the flower girl.

Robert Casavant was best man for his son and ring bearer was Ethan Casavant, cousin of the bridegroom. Bell ringer was Paul Casavant, cousin of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the Batchelder Inn in Litchfield, after which the couple traveled to Niagara Falls. They are residing in Grand Forks, N.D.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2004 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America with an associate degree in baking and pastry arts. She is employed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Grand Forks, N.D.

The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Vineyard Christian School and is serving with the U.S. Force as an airman first class, 319th Air Maintenance Squadron in Grand Forks.
