SABATTUS – The wedding of Pamela Jean Reed and Robert S. Ahlquist was held at 11 a.m. on March 19 on Sabattus Mountain in Sabattus. Norm Emond, notary, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Ahlquist is the daughter of Warren and Barbara Dorr of Maine and Florida.
The bride wore a white satin Jacquard corset with Venise lace trim.
Tammy Robbins was matron of honor for her sister. Mike Curran, long-time friend of the bridegroom, was best man.
The wedding party and guests, Tammy Robbins, Mike Curran, Heidi Curran, Norm Emond and Judy Emond, were escorted up Sabattus Mountain by snowmobiles, where the ceremony took place.
A reception will be held with family and friends in the summer. The couple enjoyed a weekend at the Chalet in the honeymoon suite.
The bride is a 1981 graduate of Plantation High School in Florida and is employed at Alternative Payroll Services in Sabattus.
The bridegroom is a 1979 graduate of high school in California and is employed at William Scottsman in Auburn.
