LEWISTON – A stretch of Sabattus Street will be closed this morning as construction crews dig into the road to lay down pipes.

Police are advising that traffic between Pond and Golder roads will be detoured during the start of the morning commute.

The work is expected to be finished by 6 a.m.

Police are advising that drivers find alternate routes if possible if they are traveling before that time.
