The article (April 20) about Ben and Jerry’s using “Fair Trade Certified” products to ensure that none of the ingredients in their ice cream was made by “exploiting someone else” may show they are very noble in their intent, but if the American people really cared about that, the store shelves would not be stocked mostly with products from places such as China.
