LEWISTON – J. Richard “Dick” Bodge, 60, of Winter Street in Lewiston, died unexpectedly Monday, April 26, at his home.

He was born in Portsmouth, N.H., Sept. 26, 1944, a son of Merrow P. and Cecilia (Dzuba) Bodge and was educated in New Hampshire schools.

He lived in the Lewiston-Auburn community for several years and was currently owner of his appraisal business, the Valuation Group in Lewiston.

He was a member of the Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Center in Hartford, where he was currently serving as a Spiritual Facilitator.

Among his favorite passions in his free time were gardening, coin collecting, antiquing and woodworking. He was also a very good jazz and blues musician who enjoyed playing both the clarinet and saxophone. In addition, he was a lover of the outdoors and nature.

He will be sadly missed by his family as well as his co-workers and many friends. He leaves a daughter, Stephanie Barbagallo and her husband, Jeremy, of West Hartford, Conn.; and two sisters, Barbara Bukata and husband, Joe, of Clearwater, Fla., and Norma Secrest and husband, Dick, of Michigan.
