NORTH ANSON (AP) – A North Anson woman is offering a reward for information leading to the conviction of the person who killed her pet llama. State police are investigating.

Kathy Lehto, who lives along U.S. Route 201A, discovered the animal covered with blood when she checked on it and her three other llamas Friday morning, said Kathy Lehto’s sister Carol Lehto, who lives with the llamas’ owner. A veterinarian said the attack was intentional and the animal had to be put down.
