FARMINGTON – The Western Maine Audubon’s Society’s program scheduled for 7 p.m. today at the University of Maine at Farmington has been canceled.
Western Maine Audubon hopes to reschedule the event with Beth Nagusky, Maine’s director of energy independence and security, a spokesman for the Audubon group said.
Next month, Bill Plouffe, vice president of the Appalachian Trail Land Trust, will speak on the history of the trail and efforts to protect it. That program will be at 7 p.m. May 18 in Olsen Student Center at UMF. It is free and open to the public.
