PORTLAND – Donna J. Senkbeil has been named an assistant vice president in the legal department at Banknorth, N.A., the banking subsidiary of TD Banknorth Inc. in Portland. As a staff attorney, she is responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts.

Senkbeil joined TD Banknorth in 2003. She belongs to the Maine State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

A resident of Durham, Senkbeil is involved with the Many & One Coalition, volunteers at the Trinity Soup Kitchen in Lewiston and is a member of the First Universalist Church in Auburn.

She received her law degree in 1988 from the University of Maine School of Law in Portland and her undergraduate degree in 1984 from Williams College in Williamstown, Mass.
