LEWISTON – The Dr. Paul Fortier Chapter 52, Association Canado-Amricaine, will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, May 2, in the Senior Citizens Room of the Multi-Purpose Center.

Following the group’s monthly business meeting, there will be a presentation by members of the Bates College Francophone Club.

Representatives from the student-run group, which was formed this year, will talk about their French heritage and future plans for their organization. The club’s membership consists of native-French speakers from around the world as well as Americans who have learned French in school.

Refreshments will be served by Chapter 52 hospitality coordinators Aliette Couturier, Anna Faucher and Lionel and Dolores Poirier.
