LEWISTON – Constance D. Rodrigue, 75, of 312 Russell St., died Thursday, April 28, at Ste. Marguerite d’ Youville Pavilion where she had resided for the past two years.
Born in Augusta, March 18, 1930, a daughter of Placid and Edna Smith Vachon, she was educated in Augusta schools.
She was a member of Holy Family Parish and worked in the cafeteria at Holy Family School.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and her love of singing and infectious sense of humor brightened the lives of all those who knew her. She was also an avid reader and also enjoyed sewing and embroidery.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond G. (Peanut) Rodrigue of Lewiston, whom she married May 2, 1949; her daughters, Jeanne and Claudette Rodrigue of Lewiston, and Diane Rodrigue of Iowa; a brother, Roger Vachon his wife, Cecile; and a sister-in-law, Madeleine Vachon, all of Augusta; a brother-in-law, Paul E. Rodrigue; and a sister-in-law, Fernande and her husband, Robert Nadeau, all of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews and caring staff of unit 3-East at d’Youville Pavilion.
