WILTON – Healthy Community Coalition invites the public to participate in All Children Exercising Simultaneously Day at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, at participating schools.

It is an opportunity to be active with millions of children from all 50 states and more than 50 countries. Each year students and teachers around the world join together to exercise and promote the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle.

At 10 a.m. participating schools and other members of the community will exercise together. At that same moment other communities around the world will also be moving, creating the world’s largest exercise class. ACES in an international project, endorsed and promoted by the Maine Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness, Sports, Health and Awareness for the past nine years.

Last year more then 2,500 students in SAD 9, SAD 58, SAD 36, Jay and Rangeley participated in ACES Day. Activities ranged from in-class exercise led by teachers, to a schoolwide physical education class where students and faculty played games together.
