• A school bus owned by Hudson Bus Lines and driven by Gordon Martineau, 70, of Lewiston, backed into a car driven by John T. Deschenes, 43, of Auburn, at 3:05 p.m. Thursday on Shawmut Street at Walnut Street. There were no injuries to either driver, nor to the 15 children riding in the school bus, according to police reports. The bus wasn’t damaged but Deschenes’ 2000 Nissan 4-door suffered an estimated $3,000 in damages.
