LEWISTON – The Maine Table Tennis League will be conducting its third Table Tennis Open on Saturday, May 7 in the gymnasium of the Multi-Purpose Center building on Birch Street. The Open is sponsored by the Maine Table Tennis League, STIGA and the Table Tennis Pioneers of Canada. It’s a sanctioned by USA Table Tennis. Eight events are scheduled starting at 10 a.m.

The format will be round robin events with groups of 4-6 players. Top 2 players in each division advance to single-elimination. All matches will be best of 3, with 11 point games. Trophies will be awarded to the winner and runner-up of each event, except for the Open where $100 will be given to the winner and $50 for second place.
