LEWISTON – Camille J. Albert, 56, of 124 Bartlett St., died Wednesday, May 4, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, following a short illness.

He was born in Sinclair on Sept. 23, 1948, the son of Joseph R. and Irene R. (Morin) Albert. His interests included playing pool and cribbage. He will be remembered as a very social person with a great sense of humor.

Prior to his illness, he worked for Prestress Concrete in Sabattus, and also worked at Albert’s Variety in Lewiston.

He is survived by three sisters, Terry and her husband, John Howes, of Sabattus, Nancy Albert of Auburn, and Dianna Albert of Portland; four brothers, Leo and his wife, Elizabeth, of Portland, Gile and his wife, Ernestine, of Lewiston, Gerard of Lewiston, and James and his wife, Rose, of Dallas, N.C.; nieces and nephews, Johnny, Tina, Polly, Stacy, Danny, Amy, Becky, Billy, Nicholas, Nickky, Michael, Shawna and Tyler; great-nieces and nephews, Kayla, Ethan and Audrey; as well as his many friends at Del’s.

He was predeceased by his mother in 1973; his father in 1975; a brother, Bruce, in 1982; and and his brother, Paul, in 2001.
