LISBON – Selectmen have been notified that the Maine Department of Transportation’s 2006-07 capital plan includes $6.8 million worth of projects in Lisbon.

They are:

• $5.3 million to rebuild 2.88 miles of Route 9.

• $315,000 to replace the Barker Brook bridge.

• $41,810 to pave 1.54 miles on Webster Road to Route 9.

• $108,410 to pave 3.91 miles of Route 9 from Frost Hill Avenue to the Sabattus town line.

• $30,000 to add turning arrows to the traffic lights on Route 196 at Capital Avenue.

• $530,000 to reconstruct a portion of Upland Road to Route 9.

• $45,000 to pave, stripe and post signs at the Park and Ride lot in downtown Lisbon Falls.

• $77,330 for maintenance paving of 4.18 miles of Route 125 to the intersection of Route 201.

• $415,000 for improving 6.75 miles of Route 9 to the turnpike overpass in Sabattus.

Selectmen voted this week to increase the 10,000-pound vehicle weight limit on Webster Road to 35,000 pounds.

Twenty-two victualer’s licenses and six mobile home park licenses were renewed. Another 10 mobile park licenses were held pending inspection.

An itinerant vendor permit was granted to TAP Enterprises for a tool show at the MTM Center on May 25.
