FARMINGTON – Four Farmington men were arrested Thursday night and Friday morning as part of a five-month multi-agency undercover drug operation.

The arrests bring to 22 the number of people charged in Operation Crack Sealer. The latest are: Floyd Patrick, 22; George “Joey” Legere, 23; Leo E. Lindley, 31; and Paul Paytas, 22.

More than 40 law enforcement officers were involved in the roundup that netted 22 arrests, all but two on drug charges.

Police are still working on identifying one man suspected of bringing much of the crack cocaine into the county from out of state. They obtained a photograph of him on a cell phone confiscated from Jennifer Marks, 22, of Jay, one of those charged.

Detective Niles Yeaton of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said police think they now know the man’s name, but he declined to release it Friday.

According to police, besides crack cocaine, other drugs being trafficked in the county include marijuana, heroin and a panoply of pharmaceuticals.

Although the suspects from Livermore Falls, Jay, Farmington, Wilton, Stratton and Fayette were not formally linked, they all referred clients to each other, Yeaton said Thursday.

“It’s supermarket for painkillers,” he said.

As of Friday morning, most of the suspects had been released on bail, according to jail records.

Court dates for most have been set in July.

Police are also looking for Kenny Storer, 23, of Litchfield; Darreyl Wright, 27, of Wilton; and Joshua Rollins, age unknown, of Jay.

All have warrants charging drug trafficking.
