DIXFIELD – The Dirigo High School Student Council wanted to do something special for the final day of school before April vacation. The student-led group put their heads together, planned and carried out “Super Quiz.” Every student in the school was involved.
The students were divided into teams. Each team had to answer sets of questions in two preliminary rounds. Four teams qualified for the “lightening rounds,” then the finals between the two top teams. Senior Rye Daily served as Master of Ceremonies. The Student Council members involved the whole school in the educational and fun experience.
The winning Super Quiz Team was composed of Josh Harmon, Steve Erskine, Matt Colpitts, Meredith Skibitsky, Rye Daily, Derek Knox, Laura Saphier, Arthur Manzer, Sheena Bukoveckas, Kayla Korhonen, Gavin Broomhall, Dana Bradbury, Isis Whalen, Justin Larsen, Mike Blais, Curtis Bowie, Josh Slawek, Dave Dakin and Adam Gatchell.
