AUBURN – The second of two fishing derbies sponsored by the Auburn Parks and Recreation Department and Auburn Exchange Club is set to unfold Saturday, May 14 at Pettengill Park Pond.

Eligible are youngsters ages 3-8. Fishing will begin at 8 a.m. and the derby will end at 11:00. Entry fee is $2.

Anglers are limited to 1 line in the water. There is a 4-trout limit.

Many rainbow trout have been stocked for this event. Trophies will be given to largest trout, total weight, total length and the first and last fish caught. Awards will be presented immediately following the derby.

A concession stand will be available.
