BUXTON (AP) – Two more people have been charged in connection with a weekend robbery and shooting, bringing the number charged to five, police said.
Virgil Buzzell Jr., 20, of Portland, turned himself in Monday at the Cumberland County Jail. Also charged was Eleanor Foley, 21, of South Portland, who met with authorities on Monday after speaking with them by phone.
Police are still looking for one more individual believed to be outside the state.
Christopher Hutchins, 21, of Buxton, and his bull mastiff dog were shot Saturday in what police described as a “drug rip-off.” Both were expected to recover.
