FARMINGTON – Sharon Laura Hanrahan, 58, of Farmington, died Tuesday, May 10, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Biddeford, Dec. 12, 1946, the daughter of Adney J. and Gertrude (Couture) Harmon. She graduated from Thornton Academy in 1964.
She married William Hanrahan in 1966 in Saco. He passed away Nov. 21, 1992. She was a member of the Emblem Club. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She gave all that she could to support many of the area’s youth sports programs.
She is survived by one daughter, Kelly Bourassa and husband, Tim, of Farmington; three sons, Douglas Hanrahan and wife, Alicia, of Randolph, Vt., William Hanrahan and wife, Lisa, of Chesapeake, Va., and Jeffrey Hanrahan and wife, Amy, of Fairbanks; seven grandchildren, Serena, Bailey, Jacob, Christopher, Jenna, Mikayla and Cameron; two sisters, Doria Johnson of Colchester, Conn., and Bette Ann Brothers, of Vista, Calif.; two brothers, James Harmon of Old Orchard Beach and Steve Harmon of Lebanon, Conn.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, William; and her parents.
