RUMFORD – Katherine P. Englehart, 83, died Tuesday, May 10, at the Rumford Hospital, Rumford. The last few years she made her residence at the Rumford Community Home in Rumford.

She was born in Wilton, on April 5, 1922, a daughter of Bert and Anna (Colburn) Holmquist and she attended Mexico schools.

She was married in Mexico, on Jan. 28, 1945, to Edward J. Englehart who survives her of Rumford.

Other survivors include her daughter, Laura Bellegarde of Rumford; a son, Edward Englehart and wife, Paula, of Dixfield; two brothers, Clifford Holmquist and wife, Georgette, of Mexico and Bert Holmquist and wife, Dot, of Peru; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Vanaria of Waltham, Mass., Deana Buck and husband, Wayne, of Milton Township, Sandra Englehart and companion, Reggie Butler, of Plymouth, Mass., Kathy Crutchfield and husband, David, of Carthage, Jeffrey McDonald of Dixfield, Leslie McDonald of Buckfield, and Wayne Buck and companion, Jennifer, of Milton Township; six great-grandchildren, Nicole Bellegarde-Kaulback of Dixfield, Zoey and Rayna Butler of Plymouth, Mass., John Vanaria of Waltham, Mass., and Nicholas and Lindsy Crutchfield of Carthage; a great-great-granddaughter, Madisyn Buck of Milton Township; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two grandsons, Edward and Michael Bellegarde; a brother, Ernest; and three sisters, Carrie, Eunice and Maxine.
