MARYLAND – Rose A. Poulin, 91, formerly of 152 Meadowview Park, Lewiston, died Wednesday, May 11, in Maryland.

Born in St. Claire, Canada, Jan. 31, 1914, a daughter of Jules and Celanire Labonte Audet, she was educated in Canadian and Winthrop schools.

Mrs. Poulin was a member of Holy Family Parish in Lewiston, where she served as Eucharistic minister and brought Holy Communion to the residents at Meadowview. She was also a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality, Holy Cross Senior Citizens, Lewiston Senior Citizens and Union St. Jean Baptist.

She worked in the textile industry and retired from Auerbach Shoe Co. She was married to Arthur Poulin June 10, 1940. He died May 15, 1979.

She is survived by two daughters, Therese Hussey and her husband, Wallace, of Glen Burnie, Md., and Constance Campbell and her fianc, Richard Milan of Lewiston; her grandchildren, Brenda Hussey Gardner, Karen Remolde, Susan Larson, William Hussey, Patricia Burgin, LaRonda Riley and John and David Matlack; 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren
