LEWISTON – Douglas and Patricia Ellis of Saco are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Heather Marie Ellis, to Wesley Richard LeCompte, son of Richard and Monique LeCompte of Lewiston.
The future bride is a 1996 graduate of Thornton Academy in Saco and a 2000 graduate of the University of New England. She is employed at the Sandcastle Preschool Program in Lewiston as a lead teacher and developmental therapist.
The future bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of Maine. He is the co-owner of Maine Wool and Design Corp. in Lewiston.
An Oct. 1 wedding is planned.
