AUBURN – A rollover accident on Garfield Road on Saturday night critically injured four people, police said.
Auburn Police Lt. Eric Audette said both speed and alcohol appeared to play roles in the accident.
The four people were traveling Garfield Road just south of Perkins Ridge Road at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday when their vehicle went off the road, ran into a tree, over an embankment and rolled to a stop, Audette said. Two of the occupants were ejected and the two others were trapped in the vehicle and had to be cut out by the Auburn Fire Department.
All four were taken to hospitals in critical condition, Audette said. He could not identify any of the people injured.
