What is the state Legislature up to now?

First, they gave us the fabulous state of Maine the lobster registration plate. Now they are trying to install us in the Atlantic Time Zone. Are they our of their mind?

I live in a retirement community where there are many senior citizens. We have active discussions about what is the current date. I can just imagine the discussion we would have discussing the time of day.

I will admit the farmers of Maine would gain an hour, but I do not believe they want a time zone change to get an extra hour of work. I think the Legislature is trying to get the first step in getting Maine to be part of Quebec (ha, ha!). I hope the Senate will install the bill in the waste paper basket.
