RUMFORD – Graveside services for John J. Perry Sr. of Rumford were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at St. John Cemetery, in Rumford. Full military honors were provided by the VFW Post 3335, American Legion Post 10, Amvets Post 11, Sons of Amvets Squadron 33. Firing squad members were Richard Dupont, Roland Gigiere, Dick Moreau, Wayne SaPiel, David O. Smith, Roaul LaPlante, Bob Welch. Honor guards were Harvey Sabin, Wayne Parker, Gerald Toothaker, Greg MacDonald. Electronic “Taps” by Dick Therrien. Flag presentation by Neree Simoneau and Dick Therrien. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., in Rumford.
