AUBURN – Auburn AC Serve (SHARE), part of Serve New England’s food and volunteer program, will have its Distribution Day from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, at the Auburn Advent Christian Church, Whitney Street entrance. Cruise ride

LEWISTON – The Mid Maine Vettes Corvette Club will hold its first cruise ride of the summer on Saturday evening, May 21. Any Corvette owner interested in attending in the ride or obtaining information about the club is invited to call Ray Faucher at 782-8952.

Blood drive

WINTHROP – There will be a community blood drive from 1 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, at St. Francis Xavier Parish Hall on Lake Street. The drive is open to all donors, and all are welcome. An identification card or license is required.

Bridge play

LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Duplicate Bridge Club met on May 10 at the Multi-Purpose Center. Flight A winners were: first, Rosemarie Goodwin and Martine Begert; second, Mike Quinn and Luke Merry; third, Jeanine Kivus and Katie Love; fourth, David Lock and Patricia Garcia; tied at fifth, Nancy Lindgren and Lucille Theriault with Charles Bartlett and Allie Boyer.

Flight B winners were: first, Charles Bartlett and Allie Boyer; second, Doug and Betty Sise. Another game will be played at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, at the Multi-Purpose Center. A partner is guaranteed.

The club also met on May 11 at Schooner Estates in Auburn. Winners in Flight A were: first, David Lock and Martine Begert; second, Mike Quinn and Nancy Lindgren; third, Sherry Hinckley and Lucille Theriault; fourth, Jeanine Kivus and Rosemarie Goodwin.

Winners in Flight B were Jim Flanagan and Lucille Bilodeau. Another game will be played at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, at Schooner Estates. For more information and/or a partner, call Lucille Theriault at 783-0431.
