LIVERMORE FALLS – Police are investigating hundreds of dollars in damage done to vehicles and a pool over the weekend.

A dozen tires were reported slashed on Church, Cargill and Park streets between Friday night and Sunday morning, Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Monday.

Most of the slashed tires were on cars parked at Church Street residences.

All four tires on a minivan and a car at 85 Church St. were slashed, and a large cinder block was thrown through the car’s back window, he said. Tires were also reported cut at 68 and 72 Church St., on Cargill Street, and at 211 Park St., Steward said. Someone reached over the side of a pool at 78 Church St. and sliced the liner, Steward said. It will need to be replaced, Steward said.

Reports of vandalism started coming in at 11 a.m. Saturday and continued into Sunday, he said.
