BETHEL – The western Maine chapter of the Small Woodland Owners Association of Maine will host a mill tour at 9 a.m. on Friday at Hancock Lumber’s pine sawmill.

The state-of-the-art band mill is three miles south of Bethel on Route 26. Coffee and doughnuts will be available at 8:30 a.m. in the mill yard. The tour is open to the public and will start promptly at 9 a.m. Those attending are urged to bring hard hats and safety glasses if possible, although they will be available at the mill.
