HINCKLEY — Raina Eustis belted a grand slam in the first inning to pace Rangeley to a 21-7 rout of Averill in a softball matchup on Tuesday afternoon.

Justine Frost-Kolva added a bases-clearing double for the Lakers (6-2) to help keep the game out of reach. Frost-Kolva finished the day 3-for-5 and Ally Godaire went 3-for-4 in the win.

The Beavers’ (0-7) starting pitcher Lesley Bell was shouldered with the loss, surrendering 21 runs in four innings.

Girls’ lacrosse

Lewiston 13, Morse 9

LEWISTON — Kelsey Varney and Mallory Long each netted four goals for Lewiston as the Blue Devills collected a hard-fought 13-9 win over Morse in a girls’ KVAC lacrosse game on Tuesday.

Caitlin Anthoine added three goals for the Blue Devils (7-2). Goaltender Mary Leblanc recorded 10 saves on 21 shots to earn the win in net.

Steph Suggs led the Shipbuilders (6-3) with four goals while Abby Miller and Mollie Underwood contributed two apiece.
