RANGELEY – A Bicycle Safety Rodeo will be held from 2:30 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 29, at the Harlan Doak Public Safety Building, School Street. It is sponsored by the Town of Rangeley, Northstar Emergency Medical Services and the Healthy Community Coalition.

The rodeo is free to the public, and all bicycle riders ages 6 to 16 years are welcome to attend the day of safe riding and skills-building.

Events will include an obstacle course, hand signal course, off-road skills instruction, a bicycle check station, a helmet fitting and distribution station and a “What If…” station. Participants should bring their own bicycles and helmets, although some bicycles and helmets will be available.

Free prizes and raffles will take place throughout the event with the grand prize raffle of a road-ready multi-speed mountain bike.
