MECHANIC FALLS – Robert J. Girardin, 46, of Mechanic Falls, died unexpectedly early Sunday morning, May 22, at his home.
He was born in Lewiston, Feb. 15, 1959, the son of Armand and Louise Girardin. He was raised in Lewiston and Mechanic Falls and graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1983.
“Bob” worked many years as a chef in area restaurants. He supported his community by being involved with the Maine Jaycees and the United Bikers of Maine.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, beano, hunting, and in his early years, motorcycles.
He was a member of 100 Pine Street Social Center.
He is survived by his mother Louise of Mechanic Falls; a daughter, Jamie White and her husband, Adam, of Casco; three grandchildren, Tameika, Kerrianna and Keegan; two sisters, Marrianne Bellefleur and her husband, Pete, of Poland and Tracy Bickford of Mechanic Falls; a brother, Mike and his wife, Tami, of Mechanic Falls; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, and two aunts, Jeannette Huntington and Yvette Lessard.
