Dear Sun Spots: The Fairbanks School Neighborhood Association in Farmington needs donations for its fourth annual yard and plant sale which takes place June 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Route 4, two-and-a-half miles north of downtown Farmington.

Anyone splitting or downsizing plants in their gardens could please think of us and donate them to the sale. We’ll take almost anything. We are also looking for donations for our yard sale. We would like to avoid mattresses and clothes. However, toys, kitchen things, garden items are welcome: Anything left over from your own yard sale would also be welcome. It’s still not too late to donate your goodies! Please call us for more information.

The sale is our fund-raising efforts to help rebuild the old school which was built around 1896 and burned down to the ground in 1998. The basement has been rebuilt and is in full use. Among its projects are housing a food bank for outlying food closets in different parts of western Maine. We are also in the process of attempting to rebuild from the basement to the first floor.

Please call Patty at (207) 778-4272 or president Cindy Kemble at (207) 778-3808 for more information. – Patty Jacobs, Farmington.

Dear Sun Spots: I’d like to respond to the woman who was inquiring about pain relief for her son who cannot swallow pills.

I have found a product at Wal-Mart that might do the trick. It is called Goody’s extra strength headache powders. I have used it and it works better than any product I have ever used. It comes in a box and you can mix it in juice or put it under your tongue. The relief was almost immediate. I have also used it for my dogs putting it in their water bowl. Hope this helps. Love your column. – Lauren Simpson Farmington.

Dear Sun Spots: I just wanted to say good luck to Tyson Trembly and Tristain Trembly on their gradation from EL. This is from a person from the LRTC that just wanted to say good luck to them. – No Name, No Town.

Answer: Thank you No Name, No Town. Sun Spots would also like to take the opportunity to wish all our local and regional high school and college graduates the very best of luck. Remember:
