TURNER – The group Bubblin’ Upstream will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, June 3, in the Leavitt Area High School auditorium. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens. They will be sold at the door.

Bubblin’ Upstream performs a variety of original tunes mixed with cover songs that draw primarily upon jazz, funk, and rock idioms. Ryan Sterling, who grew up in the Auburn/Turner area and graduated from Leavitt Area High School, plays keyboards and provides vocals. Other band members are Peter Dotson-Westphalen, on bass and vocals; Matt Lee, on guitar and vocals; Andy Kareckas on drums and vocals; and Dan Amato on flute, percussion and vocals. The group regularly performs in Vermont and recently made its New York City debut.

Proceeds from the concert will go toward the Third Herring Brook estuary restoration project located on the Massachusetts Bay.
