Northeast Financial to host financial planning series

AUBURN – Northeast Financial, the investment division of Northeast Bank, will host a series of free financial planning seminars in Auburn. Topics include retirement income planning and estate planning.

Financial Consultants Christian Bishop and Kevin Carbin of the bank’s Brunswick office will hosting the sessions. The session contents includes retirement income and IRA distribution planning session(s) are designed for ages 45-60 who are retired or soon to be retired. Subjects include income tax planning, pensions, Social Security, required minimum distributions, stretch IRAs and other options for retirement.

An estate planning session is designed for ages 55-80. Subjects include wills, trusts, risk management, long-term care issues and financial planning.

The IRA distribution planning seminar is Thursday in Northeast Bank, 232 Center St., from noon to 1 p.m. The retirement income planning seminar will be June 9 at the same location, also noon to 1 p.m. The estate planning seminar is June 9 at the Hilton Garden Inn from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
