RANGELEY – A Rangeley man is charged with entering a Main Street residence Sunday and assaulting a woman, police said.
Joshua Dustin, 29, is charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct, officer Brian Hughes said Monday.
Dustin entered the woman’s home while she wasn’t there, Hughes said, and was sleeping on the couch when she returned. He physically assaulted her, he said.
Dustin was arrested in March on charges of domestic assault, he said, and he was not supposed to be in the home.
The disorderly conduct charge resulted from Dustin screaming and swearing at the officer, Hughes said.
Dustin remained at the Franklin County jail in Farmington on a probation hold Monday, a jail worker said.
Hughes said Dustin is scheduled to appear July 27 at 12th District Court in Farmington.
