AUBURN – Funeral services for Mrs. Briggs were held Tuesday morning at the East Auburn Baptist Church, with Pastor Roger Cousineau officiating. Words of remembrance were expressed by Gracejean’s son-in-law, Warren Galway and her favorite hymn, “How Great Thou Art” was sung in her honor. Delegations from the Sun Journal as well as a delegation of teachers and teachers of Edward Little High School were also in attendance. Pastor Cousineau recited graveside committal prayers at the interment at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. A reception of fellowship followed the services at East Auburn Baptist Church. Pallbearers were Ryan, Nathan and Warren Galway, as well as Nathan, Neil and Brent James. Arrangements by the family-owned Dillingham and Son Memorial Chapel and Tribute Center.
