BENNINGTON, Vt. – Robert W. Morin, 64, of Johnson Road in Cambridge, N.Y., died Monday morning, May 31, at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington, Vt.

He was born in North Kingston, R.I., on Nov. 26, 1940, the son of Howard Martin, who raised him from birth, and his mother, Doris Morin, and attended local schools.

He worked for several years as a truck driver for BTL Trucking Co.

He enjoyed truck driving and liked trains and collecting model cars. He also enjoyed deer hunting and loved taking care of his wife, Brenda.

He is survived by his wife, the former Brenda Bryer, whom he married in Auburn in 1987; one son, Bobby Morin of Maine; a sister, Dot Salac of Maine; two stepsons, Brian and Mark Secord of Greenwich, N.Y.; and four grandchildren, Miranda Secord of Cambridge, N.Y., Alexis Secord of Greenwich, N.Y., Mikey and R.J.; and his nephew, Alan and niece, Dottie Ann of Maine.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Butch Morin.
