BATH – “The Vagina Monologues” will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at the Chocolate Church. This funny and touching performance is the result of hundreds of interviews with women of all ages and walks of life.
“The Vagina Monologues” delves into the mystery, humor, pain, power, wisdom, outrage, and excitement buried in women’s experiences. The New York Times hailed Eve Ensler’s Obie Award-winning play as “funny” and “poignant.”
Directing the show is Ellie Hinds. The cast includes Rebecca Beck-Atkins, Nancy Durgin, Suzanne Rankin, Ellen Erickson and Jessie Payson.
Tickets are $12 for members of the arts center, $15 in advance for the general public and $18 at the door. Tickets may be purchased by calling arts center at (207) 442-8455.
