AUBURN – Funeral services for Mr. Miles were held Thursday morning at the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham and Son, with Chaplain Linda Vidyashanker presiding and reciting graveside committal prayers at the interment at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. The United States Air Force Honor Detail played “Taps” and presented our country’s flag to Daniel’s sister, Pat Doucette, in recognition of her brother’s service to his country at the cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael and Rick Miles, Richard and Joe Doucette, Tom Wylie and Nel Bernard and honorary bearers were Janet Miles, Patricia Doucette and Christine Miles. A reception of fellowship followed the services at Martindale Country Club in Auburn.
