KINGFIELD – Public graveside services for Doris Newell of Kingfield were held Saturday afternoon, May 28, at Sunnyside Cemetery, Kingfield, with the Rev. Rick Dubuc of the Mt. View Bible Church, New Vineyard, officiating. Old Testament readings were: Isiah 41:10, Psalms 23 and 90:1, 2, 10. New Testament Readings included John 6:35; 8:12; 14, 15, 11:25, 26; and 14:6. The homily was based on 1 Corinthians 15: 50-58. Family members and friends shared personal remembrances and a special eulogy by her daughter, Terry Wills, was read by Pastor Dubuc. Following services, all were invited to a family reception at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Walter and Kay Newell. Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Road (Rts. 2 & 27), Farmington.
