AUBURN – Anita I. Leblond, 72, of Schooner Estates, formerly of 34 Bartlett St., Lewiston, went to join her husband, Roger, in Eternal Life Thursday, June 2, following a long illness.

Born in Lewiston on July 25, 1932, the daughter of Aurele and Rose Vachon Aube, she was educated in Lewiston schools.

She worked for more than 30 years at Billen Shoe, and prior to her retirement, worked for Supreme Slipper.

She was a member of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.

She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She also liked to play cards and watch television.

She is survived by three daughters, Diane Bruneau and son-in-law, Steve, Susan Spomer and husband, Jim, and Lisa Leblond and companion, Karen Charity; two sons, Dennis Leblond and wife, Debbie, Richard Leblond and wife, Midge; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Roger; and one sister, Annabelle Levesque.
