I wanted to relay a story that I feel warrants public attention. I live at the corner of Scribner Boulevard and Fairmount Street. I woke last Saturday at around 7 a.m. I had breakfast and went outside to go for one of my daily walks. When I got around to the front of my house, I glanced at my front porch and saw a hole in one of the windows. I started picking up the glass outside and noticed that some of the glass had come from a beer bottle that had been thrown through my window. I reported the incident to the police.

I would like to see a neighborhood watch started, but I am not sure how to do it. I would also like the person responsible to apologize and pay the expenses, though I know that is very unlikely.

I hope it is possible to bring more public attention to this matter so others who live in the area can keep an eye on this problem and report anything to the police department.
