BRUNSWICK – Anne M. Bouchard, 58, of Hickory Drive, died Saturday, June 4, at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

She was born in Brunswick, on Dec. 15, 1946, a daughter of Gerard A. and Rita M. Poulin Bisson. She was educated in Brunswick, graduating from St. John’s Elementary School in 1961 and Brunswick High School in 1965.

On May 30, 1970, she married Robert F. Bouchard at St. John the Baptist Church.

She worked from 1963 to 1971 at Pacific Industrial Bank, and from 1971 to 1990 at Canal National Bank, later known as Key Bank as head teller. Since 1990, she was a secretary and bookkeeper at St. John’s Parish.

She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church.

In 1990, Anne received a kidney transplant and referred to it as her “Angel of Life.” She was also counseled men and women preparing to go on kidney dialysis. As a breast cancer survivor, she counseled women going through breast cancer.

She was the recipient of the 1999 National Catholic Educational Association Award from St. John’s School.

Anne enjoyed knitting, creating a memory book, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She had organized the Jean & Corinne Poulin family reunion in 2000, as well as, creating the “Poulin Family History” Book with over 900 pages of photos, anecdotes, genealogy, and family stories.

Surviving are her husband of 35 years; three sisters, Aline Archibald and her husband, Jim, of Brunswick, Jean Geer and her husband, Steve, of Freeport, and Anita Shean and her husband, Leonard “Tiger,” of Brunswick; two brothers, Gerard Bisson and his wife, Terri, of Middleburg, Fla., and Roland Bisson and his wife, Dianne, of Phippsburg; four nieces, Amy Little and husband, Patrick, Amanda Owenby and husband, Tom, Stephanie Geer, and Jennifer Bisson; 11 nephews, Douglas Bisson, Eric Bisson and wife Joy, Benjamin Shean and fiance, Jennifer Bell, Joshua Shean, Christopher Geer, Ryan Bisson, John Bouchard, Geoffrey Bouchard, Will Nesbit, Eric Nesbit and Chrissy, and Brian Bouchard; grandnieces and nephews, Eric and Alex Hittle, Evan Owenby, Ariel, Mikayla and Corbin Bouchard, and Althena Nesbit.
